Halloween!

Welcome back! This week has been filled with fun Halloween activities. The children have been excited about our Halloween dress up day for Friday and have been sharing all of their ideas for their costumes. We have been talking about different characters we see during Halloween such as ghosts, monsters, witches ect. Take a look at some of our crafts throughout the day.

Can you find a bear?

The kids really enjoyed learning the story, 'We're going on a bear hunt.' They especially loved the activity where we had to go on a bear hunt outside and search for our bear friends. Everyone was very good at using their eyes and spotting the bears hiding behind trees, in the bushes, up on the climbing frame and inside the houses. After they found the bears they took turns hiding them again for their friends. We also helping saved the bears from the ooey gooey mud and goop by helping pick them out using different tools such as tongs, spoons and spatulas. Take a look at our bear hunt fun!

This week we are learning about the ' 3 little pigs.' Here is a version of the story online for you and your child to watch and talk about together.
