My holiday!

Last week we continued our topic, 'Japan and India.' We all talked about different places that we have been with our family or places we would like to go to. All the kids loved talking about the beach, whether that was Pattaya or Hua hin. We looked at pictures of different holiday spots and talked about what we saw and did with our family. Some have even been talking about what their plans were for their next vacation. Together we came up with the idea to paint the beach. What do we see at the beach? What color is the water, trees and sand? The kids did great at color recognition and painting their very own beach scene. Take a look at some of the pictures!

Thanks so much for bringing in pictures for the kids to share they really enjoyed sharing their memories with others.

Our phonics letter sound for the week is letter 'i' Here is the Jolly phonics sound you can practice at home. letter i

Let's go travelling!

Last week we started a new topic. We have been talking about travelling to different places around the world and most of the children loved to talk about Japan. So we have been focusing on the country of Japan! It has been exciting talking about the weather, food and what it looks like in Japan. The kids enjoyed making their own sushi plate and counting out how many pieces of sushi they each wanted to eat. Take a look at some of the Japanese crafts we have been doing in class.

We have also just opened up our KR airlines and airport. Take a look at the kids loving our new role play corner. Everyone did such a great job at acting out different roles such as, travel agent, flight attendant, pilot and passport control!

Thank you to all the parents for bringing in photos for your child to share with their friends. The kids will be excited to share their photos with the class.
