Phonics/
writing
|
This week, we reviewed all long sounds and
were introduced to the sound ‘zz’. We played games and tried to spell out 3
letter sound words.

During the first week of term 3, we will review
all the letter sounds learned so far.

Math
|
This week, we reviewed our number
recognition, our counting and number formation by playing ‘estimating games’.
|
During the first week of term 3, we will
review all the numbers from 1 to 20 by playing ‘estimation games’, and practice
writing numbers from 1 to 20.

PSD
|
This week, we learned about ‘compliments’.
|
During the first week of term 3, we will
learn about what we can do to be a good friend.
|

Science
|
This week, we learned about space and about
the solar system including planets, the sun and the moon.
|
During the first week of term 3, we will
learn about superheroes and how we can all be superheroes by helping others
and taking care of the Earth.

Art
|
This week, we made planets and astronauts
equipment.
|
During the first week of term 3, we will
make superhero costumes and draw our own superhero.
|
|
Physical
|
This week, we painted the sun using glue,
paint and glitter.
|
During the first week of term 3, we will built a city using blocks
and other materials and play with superheroes.
