Welcome back to Term 3.

Our Learner Profile door.

We have been learning about generosity in Mindfulness and thinking about different things we can do to help others that cost nothing. We came up with some good ideas, polite language, play with everyone, share, help and try to make a difference i.e. pick up litter.

We have begun learning about plants for our unit of Inquiry and did a fantastic job drawing Kru Kai's plant.

English	We looked at various advertisements and learnt about imperative (“bossy”) verbs	We will look at how adjectives are used in advertisements
Maths	We used bonds and number facts to do addition and subtraction	We will be adding three numbers together, spotting pairs to 10 and identifying doubles
PYP Inquiry	We started our new unit, Sharing The Planet	We will look at how plants grow and we will be planting our own seeds

Our Mindfulness Monday reflections show how much thought and effort the children put into their breath pictures.

We have had a busy week this week but the highlight of the week has been Songkran celebrations!
