Colours day!

Last week the children got to participate in our colours day fun. The children had a great time trying out new games and racing against their friends! Everyone gave the games a try and even cheered on their friends with encouraging words such as, 'you can do it!' I was very proud of all the children and their effort put in towards the games and giving it a go. Well done everyone! Take a look at all the fun we had!

Mixing colours!

Last week we got to experiment with color mixing and talking about what colours we could make by using food coloring. The children loved this experiment and had so much watching colours change and then separate when we put in dish soap. Take a look at the pictures from our experiment. Everyone was very good at using their eyes to take a close look at what the colours were doing.

We also took turns drawing a bear from our story, 'Brown bear brown Bear what do you see?' Everyone did a fantastic job following the steps along with the teacher! Great job to all my artists in the making!

This week we have started a new story, 'We're going on a bear hunt.' Here is the story for you to act out or listen to at home with your child.
