We have had a busy week in all our lessons and have been working hard!

We have been learning new tricky adjectives and how to use them to make our sentecnes wonderful.

We have been great thinkers and are becoming more knowledgable about materials in PYP. We completed two experiments this week focusing on floating and sinking and Mr Booth was so impressed with what we achieved he made his own and came to show the children today!

We were risk-takers this week and tried something new, we listened to music and then painted what the song sounded like! The paintings will be on display outside the classroom :)

Maths	We looked at 3D shapes, days of the week and months of the year.	We will continue to look at 3D shapes, days of the week and months of the year.
PYP Inquiry	We completed experiments on materials.	We will prepare for a final experiment on Friday testing the changing properties of materials.

Friday 19th January

This week we have been thinkers. We are learning about materials in Inquiry and have been exploring our school environment to find different materials and using our new words to describe them which has been a lot of fun.

We have also been learning about the processes that allow one material to change into another material, we learnt how sand becomes glass and tress become paper.

We have also been principled and made more effort to use less paper and more recycled paper to reduce our waste in the classroom.

In Maths we have had fun working with a partner to find all the different number bonds we know to make different numbers and we had a mini House Maths Challenge in class!

Big congratulations to Ne Ne, Cali and Sugus who have recieved their Bronze Certificate for getting 3 Green Cards! Well done!
