Who wants Ice cream!

Last week we started a new topic, 'Under the sea.' We decided to set up a new role play area as well to get us in the mood to be at the beach. We setup an Ice cream shop. The kids are loving the ice cream shop and enjoy serving as well as ordering ice cream for themselves and others. It has been a great communicating area and the kids have really started to speak more by asking questions such as, "What do you want?" How much?" It has been really fun watching everyone take part in this area. They have also been very creative in the art area and continue to build up their imagination with junk modeling.
