RE Weekly Update: January 3rd to January 6th, 2017

	Last Week	Next term week 1
Phonics/ writing	This week, we reviewed our letter sounds and camera words.	Next term, we will review all our letters sounds covered term 1 as well as the camera words.
Math	This week, we were introduced to basic addition.	Next term, we will be introduced to the concept of ‘estimating’. We will estimate an amount of objects then place it to its correct number value.
PSD	This week we talked about how we celebrate Christmas and what we can do to decorate and do before the special day.	During this lesson we will learn about how to play nicely with others.
Science	This week we talked about Christmas. Where it comes from and how we celebrate it.	Next term, we will talk about our holidays, where we went and what we did with our friends and family.
Art	This week we made many crafts all around the theme of Christmas. We will make a snowman, decorate our Christmas tree, finger paint Christmas lights and decorate stockings.	Next term, we will work on a circle art project and we will talk about New Years and make fire works using paint and toilet paper rolls.
Physical	Last week we played a game by throwing balls onto a snowman. We will work on good control and coordination of large and small movements.	Next term, we will work on our fine motor skills.
