Friday 17th November

We have been learning abut money this week and this week we got to play shop and buy some classroom objects from our friends. We practiced first with Numicon to help us understand the different ways of making a number then we used real money!

We had so much fun this week learning how to make different props for the Christmas Show. We used our Maths knowledge to help us understand symettry and shapes and dimensions. We were also reflective as we developed a creative process by making the props better and better every time!

English	We finished our topic on robots and explanatory texts.	We will start exploring plays and learning more about what makes a good play.
Maths	We added by 10’s and started learning about money.	We will be looking at counting by twos and double digit numbers to 100.
PYP Inquiry	We have started making props for the Christmas Play.	We will continue to develop our imagination and our art skills
